An original BVT dance band since 1999, led by bandleader and bassist Carl Smith,The Quake has become one of the most sought after high energy dance bands in the Philadelphia region.  Their material includes songs from the forties through the new millennium with danceability being a common denominator.

With experience performing at Philadelphia area weddings, mitzvahs and private parties, BVT is proud to represent The Quake, a truly high dynamic party dance band.  The band has been featured on Comcast Monday Night Live telecasts, has appeared at high profile fundraising events, including 4 Academy Ball performances as well as the most exclusive social affairs and Philadelphia galas.
